The Media Youth Center (Lewis 'Jumbo' Johnson MYC) is a nonprofit youth center in Media running MYCamp, a summer day camp, along with specialty camps. These include a one-week Mike Doyle Jr. Basketball Camp for grades 1-6 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and a late-summer All-Sports Camp (kickball, basketball, flag football, wiffleball and more) in half-day sessions.

★Moyer IndoorOutdoorMYC has been a staple in the area for a well run, organized youth sports program for the local community. I have been involved in youth sports for almost 15 year and have seen it all, bad kids, awful refs, and poorly run organizations.... MYC for a long time has never had that problem, until now! After a hard fought game tonight with two talented teams, this actions of the league commissioner were highly inappropriate. Some examples of what was said... to kids, parents and coaches alike "Those kids are trash and don't belong in "our" gym" "Put that kid down (holding a child) and what are you going to do about it?" "You can come speak to me in my office.... oh never mind your not worth my time" I could continue with several other comments made, but this was uncalled for, his insults to women, and young kids show his disrespect towards others. I would be aware of this league going forward and will be reporting his conduct to the appropriate people.
