For the size of Darien it is very well equipped with free weights, Precor machines, stair steppers, elliptical machines, stationary bikes and a Concept2 rowing machine. They also offer classes. Since it is part of the Coastal YMCA group members can go to any YMCA in the coastal region which expands the exercise options greatly if you want to try other activities like swimming or basketball.
