★★★Brigette Brinton (MyrddinDerwydd)Daycare at this YMCA was ... Generally adequate. But that is closing at the end of May, and in my opinion, that's because of more than "issues with decreased demand". I look forward to never again interacting with the grouchy old biddy who was constantly at the front door refusing us entry at "9:01 AM". Oh, and in over a year of using the YMCA daycare and paying for Y membership, we never once used the actual YMCA services. The outdoor pool is constantly closed for maintenance, and the building is such a huge winding mess that it's hard to find anything not by the front door. All of the relevant classes were during the work day or absurdly early in the morning as well.
★Nell BeasleyThe one and only vending machine is broken, outside pool covered in mildew including the slide and not able to use them as advertised. Outside bathrooms have spider webs. It's bizzare looking out back like a scary film..The Hills Have Styes, Jacuzzi is 5 million degrees only thing I'd maybe consider for 5 seconds, indoor pool looks nice.
★GOFMN SupportThis gym is a joke. The guy in the front won’t help you with the water fountain, he refuses to help a new member understand where things are and they post the pool schedule and close one to two hours earlier.
★★★★★Sandra MunginHad a pool pump to break in mid oct. Had to find one get it to Brunswick install and get water temp and level back up. All done in a short while. Exceeded expectations in this area. Thank you Y.
★Pamela Jenkins-SanfordI love being a member of the Y, both for the mission and the workout! But this Y needs new management. Broken items are never fixed. The last year, they’ve hardly had a single working bike. Nothing is ever really repaired, and certainly never replaced.
