Maryville University's Center for Access and Achievement (CA2) runs STEM summer camps on the Maryville campus in St. Louis, including Elementary Science and Robotics, Middle School Teen Tech, and High School Coding, serving students roughly ages 4–14. Courses span robotics, game development, coding, and virtual reality, taught by faculty and area educators over two weeks in July. Powered by GoogleWe send our daughter to Maryville for their STEAM Camp program, this is her second year going but the first time we couldn't fully afford it. Gretchen Roberts was amazing at helping us be able to make sure that our daughter could still go and that once my husband started working she made sure that our child could have before and after care so that my husband could make it to work on time. This program is honestly the best program out there for kids 4 and up to learn so many new things, from programming to the human body, from rainforest to coding, there's something for everyone at this camp. I highly recommend putting your children in this program during the summer!
My children have been enrolled in some of their STEM + Robotics classes and we've always had great experiences. The kids have a blast, and they have excellent teachers that make the topics approachable and fun. We'll be back again to learn more next year!
I recently completed Maryville's STEM certificate program and I highly recommend it! I can't wait to use what I've learned in my classroom! Additionally, my son attended the Teen Tech program this summer. He absolutely loved it! Maryville is truly doing phenomenal things for educators and students!
This camp was outstanding. Perhaps the best camp my 9 and 6 year old did this year. First and foremost it was organized with great communication. Second the instructors were warm, friendly, and prepared. Lastly the content was rich and full. My kids came home everyday with things to tell me about camp that day (which was rare at other camps). We did 1 week this year and will surely do 2 next year.
Maryville offers the best summer camps and everything is so well organized. My kids love these camps. They look forward to them every year. The staff is wonderful and they all do a great job making sure the campers are all having fun. Highly recommend!
