Have taken several art classes and a culinary class here. The facility is very good. The instructors in the last several years have been excellent. In addition to the class time, Fridays have open art room time so you can put your work on an easel and paint in a friendly group with others. They just got new easels, very nice, and the carts to hold your materials next to the easels are terrific. The art rooms have nice big north windows. You can store your wet work in a Cubbie in between classes. The kitchen for the culinary classes is well equipped. The instructors are great. Bring a bottle of wine and participate as much as you like. You will leave with recipes and good how-to instruction. This is a relaxed social time, too. I have found the people in my classes to be warm and kind. All levels of artists (and cooks) are welcome and made comfortable. You can’t go wrong; this is a wonderful community asset.
