Exploration Place is Sedgwick County's science and discovery center in downtown Wichita, offering weeklong STEM day camps for children ages 7-13. The water play area is amazing, they even have a water show that goes along to music there. They also have a concession stand! It’s in a nice shaded area with picnic tables. The prices are not bad, about $7 for a kids meal and they have sandwiches, pizza, wraps, ice cream too.

All the "kids", even the ones over 30, learned something new, found exhibits and experiments of interest. The younger "kids" had a great time at the splash pad. The laser show was a little much for some members of our party, but I would still 100% recommend it. As an added bonus our membership with Arizona Science museum is a reciprocal partner, so the only tickets we had to purchase were for family members that weren't members. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for kids of all ages

This is definitely one of the best family attractions in Wichita and a fantastic place for learning and entertainment.

Great variety of features for all different ages and skill levels. Well maintained and clean. We had lunch at the outdoor snack bar and were pleasantly surprised at the food quality.
