MAPA Main Studios is the Wailuku home of the Maui Academy of Performing Arts, a nonprofit that has run summer musical-theatre camps for Maui keiki for more than 35 years. Camps immerse students in about 200 hours of dance, drama and singing led by professional teaching artists and culminate in a full staged musical for the community, serving ages 5 through adult. Camps are on hold during construction of the academy's new black-box theatre, with programming expected to resume in 2026.
