Overall, our experience with the camp was positive. The kids were kept busy and engaged with variety of fun activities. The camp offered a great mix of outdoor activities which kept the children entertained and happy. However, there was one aspect we were not pleased with: the indoor activities. When children went inside, they were allowed to watch shows and movies. Unfortunately, some of these were not age-appropriate and included indirect violence or overly stimulating content. We were disappointed that after paying such high price for camp, our children were spending time in front of a screen instead of engaging in more enriching activities. While the camp had many strengths, this was a significant drawback for us. We would have preferred if the camp had offered more appropriate and engaging indoor activities instead of resorting to television.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! My son loved this camp. He said they had fun activities all day and the counselors were great. He is a tough critic and normally hates camp but he says he can’t wait til next year to go back.

Both of my children attended Malvern Day Camp this past summer. For my youngest, it was his first year. For my oldest, it was his third summer attending. They both had an amazing time and as always there were so many great activities for them to enjoy. They loved their counselors and all of the camp staff! People are always amazed at what great swimmers they are and I attribute it to their swim lessons at MDC!

I went on the last Parent's Day and I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! Although we didn't get to do much outside because the storm came, I thought the Counselors were patient and attentive and caring to all the children. The kids all genuinely seemed happy, which is a feat in itself. Even when we went inside, the counselors were great with the situation that was handed to them. I was extremely nervous sending my daughter here as every new place makes a parent nervous, but I am so happy with the decision we made. Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

I have three children at The Malvern Day Camp and I must say that our car rides home are non-stop talks about all the fun things they did that day. My oldest daughter loves playing Gaga with her friends and counselors, while her younger sisters enjoy swimming and kayaking. I love the fact that my children are outside being active on a daily basis. I would recommend this camp to anyone.
