The Lincoln Community Playhouse runs its Theatre Arts Academy summer camps, production-based theater programs for children ages 9–13 held Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm. Every camper is cast in a full staged show – recent titles include Willy Wonka, The Jungle Book, and Finding Nemo – with a performance on the second Saturday of each camp.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Lincoln Community Playhouse directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleLCP is one of my favorite places in Lincoln. All staff and volunteers are exceptional. My favorite time of year is June when they run the Penguin Project shows. My son has been with them since 2018 as an Artist and Volunteer. He is always included and welcomed in everything he does with LCP.
The quality of the shows here is incredible!
Great performances every time! The Penguin Project is an absolutely stellar program for all involved and all who get to watch the magic from the seats! Highly recommend!
This is one of the most inclusive theaters I’ve ever been to. They’re incredibly welcoming to new performers, and I had an amazing time being part of a play here. The productions are always well done and thoughtfully put together.
WOW!!! It was such an amazing performance 👏 the cast was so very talented, and the costumes were so original and just fantastic!! I loved it!!! I went with my grandkids, ages 7 and 10, and they really liked it ,too. So thankful for all the hard work done by so many!!!
