Limelight Dance, formerly Wanda Kay's School of Dance, is a New Bern dance studio with more than 40 years in the local dance community. In summer it runs a series of dance camps for younger students plus a three-day intensive for older, more advanced dancers. The rest of the year it offers class-based instruction for children through adults.

This welcoming atmosphere is joined and exhibited by the owner Baylee, her assistant and the dance instructor Mrs. Bri (Brianna). Brianna welcomes her students into her class, she is very caring and friendly. She not only has talent dancing but talent teaching children the dance skills she displays. We are enjoying being apart of her classes and feel lucky and blessed to have her as a teacher!

We spend several nights a week at Limelight, and love how it’s feels like one big family! Mrs. Ashley is amazing with my preschooler, Ms. B does an awesome job with the cheer classes, Mrs. Mariah makes hip-hop so much fun for both my girls, and Mrs. Bri is always so patient and smiling!
