Powered by GoogleBeen a member with Lifetime for over 3 years now and i have never been more welcomed into a gym like at this location. Sage is a true leader and experienced professional. Not only will Sage make you feel welcomed into this club he has a complete and solid answer to your questions. Sage by far has the best customer service i have seen in years of managing and stopping in for workouts at gyms around the twin cities. Whatever Sage is doing everyone on the team should be taking notes on how to engage with members or “potienal” member. Again SAGE is a great associate if your thinking about stopping in ask for Sage he is a solid leader that will treat you with respect and acknowledgment like TRUE leader preform.
Lots of good amenities! How ever they restrict towels for some reason? And there is mold in the water fountains. I ended up trying to clean it myself. I've been going there for my "lifetime," lol, however safety and customer satisfaction resolutions have not been up to par. People pay hundreds of dollars to go to this place. Not impressed. And really grossed out.
Regardless of whatever your political beliefs may be, it not only incredibly unprofessional, but distasteful to have an employee who cleans the woman’s locker room openly boasting about her illegal involvement with impeding law enforcement and her network of “revolutionaries” - this isn’t a movie, it’s real life and I come to Life Time for a moment away from the chaos we’re all experiencing and currently impacting our communities. Given the current climate, I think I speak for most people that the gym is the LAST place anyone wants to hear about this - it’s already enough, how divisive it is in our communities, at work or among our family members. Life time seriously needs to address this woman. She’s also extremely rude to members in the locker room. I get it, I probably would be just as unhappy as she looks every day if I had to clean toilets, but the rest of the staff doesn’t act like this. Just the other day earlier this week she was yelling at someone (I couldn’t make out why). Moments later after she left another younger employee came by after to try and apologize to everyone saying that “her style” and “approach” was “different” - I give her credit for trying but at the same time this younger girl shouldn’t even have had to do that.
I hate to do this and I never write reviews, but after several months (at least since this past summer) I am not quite sure what is going on with this club location and I am frustrated as a longtime member 10+ years. This club is simply not the same - from the cleanliness, upkeep and general ‘higher end’ standard that made this location special, and yet twice this year alone they upped our dues. It’s feeling really run down lately and the bathrooms are outdated. It’s great that they finally redid the saunas (wow!) but there are so many other areas desperately needing attention. The showers are grimy, doors to them are scummy and old, and the fixtures are old too. There are always tiles falling off the sidings too. The biggest problem overall is the cafe: the cleanliness and service has gone down there considerably and I do not know what has changed or why it is so hard to keep consistent staffing especially on weekends?! There were countless times my order was wrong or took over 20 minutes even for a simple shake…? I once asked to speak to the manager some time ago - I don’t know or remember her name but she was very standoffish and clearly didn’t like my feedback despite being as polite as I could… honestly, I got the vibe she didn’t even want to be there or hates her job so perhaps she should find another career? I have never experienced this with any other employee but the one good thing is that everyone is super nice at this club, just hate to see it go downhill.
What’s the point of paying for a gym membership if I can’t use basic equipment when it’s convenient? You can’t get near the squat racks after work—they’re always packed. So I tried adjusting my schedule to go around 8 AM. After waiting for a class to finish (already frustrated that they were using almost every squat rack and piece of equipment), I realized they barely touch the racks for more than 10% of the workout. Even then, I still couldn’t lift because another class was scheduled to use them soon after. The two remaining racks were taken, and when one finally opened up, someone else grabbed it immediately. You really need to implement a better system—either limit how much class participants monopolize the equipment or introduce a fair line system. It’s ridiculous to pay for a membership and never be able to use the equipment I joined for.
