Twice a year, our church has retreats there. We would highly recommend Lake Springfield Christian Assembly as a place to host your retreats.

Great experience for my daughter's, planning next year already to come back for camp. Another great time. Girls will be back again in 2025

I loved this place as a child, but had a traumatic experience at this camp during my 8th grade year that severely damaged my relationship with the Lord. I understand that not everyone has a good time at summer camp, but unfortunately the experience was orchestrated by the faculty of the camp, and I was having an excellent time until this particular event. Please keep in mind that my experience happened well over ten years ago, and it's possible LSCA has changed their practices. However, I recently had a conversation with my pastor and he encouraged me to speak my truth, so here I am. All I ask is that the parents who are contemplating sending their children here do their research and inquire about the sorts of activities that their children are participating in. If anyone mentions blindfolds, carrying large bags of rocks, and sending your child to a Pretend Hell built in the basement of the cafeteria, I would choose another summer camp.

This is a wonderful camp with an excellent staff and great spaces to rent. It also has amazing views of Lake Springfield.

My family has been involved here for years. Great facilities, amazing staff, wonderful food, and solid Biblical teaching at summer camp. We've used the camp for retreats, family reunions, and even birthdays. Has a gym with stage and multimedia, a good size pool, canoeing, nice sleeping quarters.
