The Lake Fenton Sailing Club, a nonprofit founded in 1937 on the northeast shore of Lake Fenton, offers a Junior Sailing Program alongside adult learn-to-sail lessons. Youth learn small-boat sailing fundamentals on the lake during the club's April-through-October season.

Powered by GoogleWe are not members of the club but we often get invited by a friend of ours who is. It is a proud organization that continues to keep a long tradition of sailing on Lake Fenton. There is a modest clubhouse with surface parking and a nice dock located on the point near Fenton Township Park and Beach. I don't know how much it costs to join but I know it's cheaper than buying a house on the lake.
Great club, friendly members. Good for small sailboat racing. Membership is open. Club now has "420 Dinghy" class sailboats for youth and high school sailing instruction. They are very eager to increase participation.
Great group of people, happy to teach and share sailing!
The sailing club is a family friendly place that emphasizes sailing and family focused social activities. Newcomers to sailing are welcome, whether with or without a boat. Lessons are avaiable, as are crew opportunities.
Loved it. Transported some seniors from a senior living facility here for a special event. They were greatness provided a wonderful time, fabulous lunch and pontoon boat ride, for the senior citizens. This is something like the 33rd year they have done this.
