The Laguna Madre Youth Center is a Port Isabel nonprofit (founded 1989) providing after-school and summer programs for children ages 6-17 in the Point Isabel ISD area (Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Heights and Laguna Vista). Each day includes a healthy meal and snack, homework help, and programs in fitness, health, arts, science, reading and a computer lab. It offers a safe, supervised place for local youth.
