Powered by GoogleKids like it, very busy, not many boy options, chairs are uncomfortable, smells like feet..lol. But a good place.
First day doing a practice trial with gymnastics ages 6-9. Please do not waste your time with these undereducated lazy teachers who are about 18-20 years old and clearly do not care about teaching the kids anything hands on. For instance my kid has zero experience in flipping, cart wheels etc she asked the teachers to help they didn’t and instead let her keep fall on her neck several times while trying to cart wheel or flip so I expressed that she was new and the response from the coach was that they can pull her out of the class. I expressed my concern to the front office with a response of sarcasm in the front desk representatives voice saying she’s sorry I had the experience and there’s no help. They let the boys stretch with the girls so please be careful of that they are not young boys. Go somewhere else these people are not here to help your kid they are more like the children on cell phones who tell your kid to do a flip and walk away. Several other kids were complaining and crying and left behind us.
We absolutely love this gymnastics studio! My daughter looks forward to every single class, and it’s been incredible watching how much she’s grown in skill, strength, and confidence since starting here. The coaches are patient, encouraging, and truly care about each child’s progress. They make learning fun while still challenging the kids to do their best. The atmosphere is always positive and welcoming; from the front desk staff to the instructors on the floor. You can tell everyone here genuinely loves what they do and wants every gymnast to succeed. My daughter has not only improved her technique but also built great friendships and self-confidence. I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to train. We’ll definitely be sticking with this studio for the long run—it really feels like family!
I was honestly quite surprised by how many negative reviews there are. My daughter started gymnastics here a couple of months ago, and we’ve had an incredible experience. My daughter is only 3, so I was a little nervous when they told me the parents don’t go inside, but I was very pleased when we arrived the first day, to see the glass was around the entire gym, allowing us to watch her the whole time. We’ve been lucky to have been placed with Ms. Morgan, whom my daughter absolutely adores. My daughter is a little rowdy and struggles with listening, but Ms. Morgan handles it very well by remaining kind BUT not letting her get away with certain things. I also want to note that my daughter fears the foam block pits… (she thinks she’s going to melt.) Ms. Morgan was very patient and accommodating. She didn’t force her and instead went in with her. She’s slowly introduced the blocks to her in a fun way, and she has slowly been getting over her fear. We’ve had a couple of coaches cover Ms. Morgan while she has been out, and they have all been wonderful. I wish the sessions were longer than 45 minutes because they go by so fast, but it’s worth it. We will continue classes here as long as we can!
We’ve had such a wonderful experience at La Fleur watching our grandson grow in both confidence and skill. A huge thank you to Coach Taylor, who has been an incredible part of his journey. Her patience, encouragement, and positive energy made every class something he looked forward to. While we’ll miss her dearly, we’re grateful for all she’s poured into the kids and wish her the very best in her next adventure. We’re also excited to meet the next coach and continue this amazing gymnastics experience!
