Kwon's Taekwondo After Care and Summer Camp

This is an outstanding facility, led by a talented and incredibly caring group of masters and instructors. Master Kwon clearly takes pride in his work and is extremely adept at leading by example and working with kids (and adults) of all ages and skill levels. Staffing for classes is always more than sufficient, often with a ratio of students to instructors of 3 to 1. My daughters took classes here for a couple of years before deciding to make dance their full-time activity, but my son continues to attend classes and progress, and has fun while doing so. I highly recommend Kwon's Taekwondo.

If you are looking for a fantastic martial arts program for your child, look no further than Kwon’s Taekwondo. My son has been taking classes at Kwon’s for almost 3 years now. He started as a less than confident 7 year old and is now almost 10 and recently earned his Black Belt under the amazing leadership and coaching of Master Kwon and all the other incredible Masters and instructors. The classes are a nice size and allow for individualized instruction as well as smaller differentiated groups according to the skill level/needs of each student. Master Kwon and the rest of the staff are excellent at demonstrating techniques and forms, breaking them down to a point where everyone can be successful. Students at Kwon’s also learn and demonstrate respect, focus, persistence, and leadership skills. I cannot recommend Kwon’s Taekwondo enough.

My girls have been attending Kwons for two and a half years. My oldest will be testing for her black belt in under a month. Master Kwon and the other masters and instructors are excellent with children. Not only do they train them in the art of tae kwon do, but they also teach about respect and discipline. I highly encourage everyone to try a class for free. You will get hooked!

My son has been in taekwondo for three years and it has been a great experience for him. Master Kwon and his team create a fun environment where kids learn more than martial arts. They focus on developing the whole child and teach kids valuable life lessons. I’ll never forget my son’s first belt promotion self assessment where he had to rate himself on listening at home, caring for his belongings, his family relationships and if he makes his bed regularly. He immediately changed his behavior to get higher ratings and I thought to myself, this is the right place for him!

We love it at Kwon’s! Our son Jake joined 3 months ago and it has been great for him. He is very proud of his accomplishments so far. The instructors do a great job of reaching him as a kid who hasn’t really done great in team sports. They have been a really positive and fun influence for him. He had his birthday party here as well which was a lot of fun! Thank you for making a great experience for him.
