My daughter and son just started their fifth year at Knecht Dance. Since the first day, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The confidence that the teachers bring out in their students is incredible. My daughter has asked to add more classes each year. She truly enjoys the time she spends at the studio, and she comes home excited to show us new moves and tell us what she has learned. We love Knecht because we have always felt seen and appreciated. They give each student room to grow and participate at the level they would like. We are very happy that we found Knecht Dance.

My niece briefly attended this dance school. At first, everything seemed well organized, and the instructors were great. Unfortunately, our experience changed when we discovered that the company failed to provide the refund they had promised for unused classes. Communication was also very poor when we tried to resolve billing issues that resulted from their mistake. The owner repeatedly avoided follow-up. Sadly, I would not recommend this school based on our experience.

Our dancer started 6 years ago and has grown into a multi-class company dancer. We appreciate the supportive fun environment and the opportunities for dance outside the classroom such as the Disney Dance Experience, community events, workshops, competitions, and conventions. The instructors meet each dancer where they are and help them to build strong foundations in technique to achieve their individual goals. Knecht Dance dancers build friendships and challenge themselves to improve with confidence and to handle setbacks with patience and grace.

Knecht has been such a wonderful community for me and my daughters (and soon my son will be joining as well!). Our family is very busy, but one thing that has stayed consistent is looking forward to dance every week. Knecht not only has experienced teachers but interns and mentors who my girls absolutely adore. I myself have made friendships through the studio, and have only had great experiences with the director and staff who appreciate the balance between family life, work, and extracurriculars. For example, we had a situation last year where we needed to take a break for a month and the director was completely understanding. Dance requires commitment which Knecht reinforces but also the teachers have huge hearts which is why there's so many *happy* dancers who have been with them for several years. Looking forward to continuing our journey with dance at Knecht!

We found Knecht in 2020 when our daughter was 3. It was the height of the pandemic, schools were closed, and we wanted a safe place our child could socialize but she was too young for online dance classes. Knecht masked up and had six foot squares for each dancer so they could learn in person while social distancing. They even had the end of year recital outside so the kids could experience it when large indoor gatherings were banned. During that crazy time Knecht was a refuge for our daughter and even though things have gone more or less back to normal Knecht is still that caring home away from home for her. She’s grown so much as a dancer! This family run business manages to have both structure and flexibility, fun and discipline, so the dancers love dance and grow in their ability to perform. Some studios are too strict and others too loosy goosy but Knecht is the perfect Goldilocks studio that is built on a foundation of love for dance and dancers. There are a variety of styles to choose and whether you are a 1 class a week dancer or take every class and join the company you are welcome here.
