We have been apart of the KMC Albertville Family for the past 7 years. From Dance with Me toddler classes all the way up to Show Unit this year. While the music and costumes change what remains consistent is the devoted staff and their commitment to building a positive, safe environment for our children to learn and grow. Not only have my kids learned dance techniques but they are also learning what it means to be a part of a team, stepping out of your comfort zone, having fun, kindness, confidence and given opportunities to give back to the community. We love KMC! Our daughter has always enjoyed singing and dancing so when she turned two we decided to try a Dance with Me class. Now, six years later she is still in love with dancing and a lot of that reason is KMC. Ms. Christine is such a kind, encouraging and patient dance teacher! Her staff is amazing as well. Our daughter feels safe, loved and accepted when she walks into the studio. She has made great friendships with other girls that she dances with. A studio to call home! My daughter has been dancing for 10 years (competitively for 8 years) we chose to leave a local big name studio near us and make the drive (45 minutes) to KMC Dance Albertville. We've been here for 2 years now and my daughter has built up confidence in herself and learned more technique than she had ever known! I danced at this same studio from middle school through highschool graduation and the things I valued as a student are some of the same things I value now as a parent. Affordable pricing makes dance accessible for everyone, and the time commitment is reasonable (2 days a week with weekend competition season). I value the effort the owner Christine, puts into planning volunteer events, givebacks to the community (like our nursing home shows at Christmas), and even extra team bonding events bringing in activities that support other local businesses! The kids are more than dancers when they walk through the door, they are teammates who are valued for their individual strengths and quirks. If you are looking for a studio that will challenge you to reach your potential through top notch teaching, putting people first, investing in the community, and supporting the life/sport balance to let kids be kids this is the place to be!
