Kids' Orchestra is a Baton Rouge nonprofit that runs a June summer music camp for children ages 5–12 (K–6th grade), with no musical experience required. Campers take hands-on music lessons on instruments from violin and cello to trumpet and percussion, plus social-emotional learning, movement, and arts and crafts, closing each week with a performance. Tuition includes snacks, lunch, a t-shirt, and instrument use, with scholarships for lower-income families.

I have personally seen the benefits of Kids' Orchestra through my children and witnessed the confidence it has given them, not just in music or in school, but in their everyday lives. Kids' Orchestra enriches their lives in a way we couldn't have imagined. Thank you KO!!!
