Kid Row runs week-long rock-band day camps (about five hours a day, Monday-Friday) where students are placed in a band, learn guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals, and rehearse two songs (a current favorite and a rock classic) for a live show for friends and family at the end of the week. The Los Angeles-area program operates at multiple locations including studios in LA, Santa Monica, North Hollywood, Reseda, and Westlake Village. It is built as an alternative to traditional lessons for kids who want to perform.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Kid Row directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleSO AWESOME!!!! My daughters, 5 and 7, have gained so much confidence, made friends, learned a ton, and genuinely look forward to brand practice every week. It’s so different from the usual kids’ classes like ballet, gymnastics, etc. My daughters do those too, but I think that’s exactly why they love Kid Row — it feels fresh and different. The teachers are also the kindest. My girls loved learning from them and always felt welcome, supported, and excited to come back. Highly recommend.
Love the program for my toddler. Has been so much fun watching her get comfortable with the instruments, her bandmates and the new songs each semester. Thank you, Justin & team!
Our 4yr old son loves going here! Justin and his crew have a ton of energy and passion that's very infectious. Highly recommend
I write this review for my son, he likes the place but says the songs he plays suck: They show him Pink and Walt Disney Songs but at home he’s listening to Led Zepplin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath… so 2nd band camp very diasappointing, I guess he won’t go there again another time.
Matt is an amazing drumming teacher, we feel so lucky to have him teaching our kiddo! The staff here is so kind and they have great programming for kids.
