A nonprofit summer recreation and enrichment program at Mother's Beach in Kennebunk, operating since 1910 for children ages 2-17. More than 50 course offerings span sailing, swimming, tennis, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, drama, arts and crafts and woodworking. A scholarship program supports access for all Kennebunk families.

★Jacob SaggityDon’t send your kids here. This place is filthy. The staff is so disrespectful and rude. The staff treat their counselors so poorly. There’s constant yelling in chaos from staff members at the kids. complete safety hazard, kids running around without shoes when there’s nails, glass, rocks on the ground. I’d recommend sending your kids to a sleepover camp where they will learn something. The counselors pick favorites on the kids, and treat the other ones poorly. Don’t send your kids here unless you wanna Up at the end of the day with them terrible this camp is.
★★★★★Brett ShaverKBIA is our favorite part of summer in Maine. They have great swim lessons with fantastic and caring councilors. Our 5 yo started the summer barely getting her face wet and ended the summer diving in the deep end. Their camp programs are also amazing for kids and include everything from pottery to sailing and tennis. They also have fires on the beach, BBQs, movie nights and other whole family activities. It required a yearly membership fee and you have to sign up for classes early, but definitely worth it!
