After trying a couple different studios, my daughter (and us) chose Just for Kix when she was in 2nd grade. She is having a blast with her friends while building her skills as a dancer and performer. As a family (extended family included), we enjoy multiple shows a year (way to use the performance costumes!). Plus, different routines throughout the year are keeping it fun for the spectators. There are no try outs for most competitive classes, so everyone can enjoy the rush and excitement of competing (or not, if they prefer to perform). My son was "dragged" to most of his sister's shows and competitions, and to our surprise, asked to join in. He loved the excitement of competition, and how much fun the hip hop dancers were having on stage. This year will be his 4th year, he made great friends and enjoys learning (and showing us) new moves. As a parent, it has been heartwarming to watch both kids grow as a dancer and as a person with their dance families. The staff is amazing, always answering our (endless) questions. We can see they deeply care about the children.

JFK offers a quality dance experience for an affordable price. The director, Laurisa Rosenow, is not only a wonderful dance instructor, but also a mentor for the dancers. The other teachers are great as well. I highly recommend this program!
