Powered by GoogleJSOD is just the best!! I am educated in dance and have been pleased on every level with the training and attention my 3 year old grandaughter is getting with Ms. Natalie and Ms. Amanda! The children in their class are loved all the while being taught true dance skills thru fun and play. I could not have asked for a better environment for my grandaughter to be introduced to dance. I see JSOD in our future for years to come!
Our family has been a part of the JSOD family for over 15 years. The love, Christian values, and dance training poured into our girls by Mrs. Natalie, Mrs. Amanda, and the entire staff are wonderful. Our daughter Elizabeth graduated JSOD and was able to join the staff. She loves passing on Joy's love of all dance styles to her students. Our daughter Louisa graduated Joy's with a foundation in ballet that allowed her to join Ballet Frontier. Her teachers, specifically Mrs. Lydia Spano and Mrs. Hannah Requa, poured so much encouragement into her and were strong positive role models. Our youngest has a couple more years at Joy's and enjoys all her teachers and all styles of dance. She loves all her teachers. They are always there for their students and love them unconditionally. Some of her favorite teachers are Mrs. Natalie for tap, Mrs. Lydia and Ms. Lily in ballet, Ms. Anna in contemporary, and Ms. Sam for hip hop. These teachers are special to her because they see her individually and give her direct corrections that help her. They help her be not only a better dancer, but also a better person. Thank You, JSOD!
We absolutely LOVE our JSOD! The teachers don’t just teach technique — they encourage us, challenge us, and truly invest in who we are as people. They push us to be better, believe in us when we doubt ourselves, and even pray over us. It’s more than a studio… it’s a family, and we are so grateful to be part of it. These girls Love their musical theater class where they sing & dance with Lillie Kennedy & Kaija Kennedy.
My daughter has been going to Joy’s for 5 years. We love the teachers! They are patient, knowledgeable, and the classes are age appropriate. The communication is amazing and we always get excited when they start sending out recital information. The recitals are the BEST! A lot of time, planning, and effort goes into each class throughout the year to prepare the dancers. “Ms. Emily is funny and nice.” -Esperanza
We love JSOD! The pre-school class is especially sweet and so many details that make it feel special. Every minute of the class is intentionally filled with activity. We came from another big studio in Fort Worth and can appreciate this class and the kids not just sitting around. Miss Amanda is exceptional and friendly to our mammas girl / she will hold her hand and encourage her through class. Miss Natalie is a great teacher and amazing with the littles! I love her voice in the class and teaching even the littles the proper names of dance positions. Great work ladies!
