I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing youth basketball experiences we've had. Spend a little time around this program and you'll see the problem. Too many egomaniacs today are chasing money and $3 plastic rings instead of developing kids. At practices and trainings there was far too much standing around, zero accountability, and a revolving door of new players instead of investing in the ones who had already committed. Thats why we chose to train at another organization while playing with this team. Don't assume every family that leaves is upset about playing time that's the easy excuse. The real issue is the culture. Great coaches build players; they don't collect them. To build a great organization, develop the kids who trust you instead of adding more players to pad your pockets. My boys don't need accommodations. They need a coach who doesnt stand on the sidelines with their hands in their pockets, looking at the clock to see when its time to sub. They'll continue training 3–4 days a week with a coach who does it out of passion, not for the money. I accept your apology. It's just business. You do you!

Josh and his team of coaches are excellent! They genuinely care about each and every player. There is a lot of love and passion on his court, but also structure and discipline. His program is built for kids of all ages and skill levels. JWE is the best development league in Lubbock and well worth the investment.
