After the first day he was hooked! The instructors at JC spend time teaching campers about safety, basic wave mechanics, surfing fundamentals, and above all, Jesus Christ! Every day is packed with surfing and some good old fashioned fun with "capture the flop" mixed in between sessions. Our son graduated from JC Surf camp with a stronger knowledge of who God is and about his wonderful creation because of these instructors. I cannot recommend it enough.

First James lesson on the beach was thorough but not boring. Showing us the basic of wave structure, surf etiquette, and then the proper way to stand on the board (pop ups). Out in the water he took time to work with us individually. Making sure we each caught a wave. My Aunt says it exceeded her expectations. My brother loved it. And I want to go again.
