My son has been attending summer camps at idea lab since he was 5 (now turning 10) and he LOVES it there! He has tried several others and Idea Lab is the ONLY one he has consistently wanted to return to each summer. It's a relatively small group of kids which he likes and he has freedom to be creative and exposure to so many new things and also has made some good friends there. He played chess for the first time there and came home and beat me! I've also found it to be the most flexible and most convenient camp in our area which is honestly why we chose it in the first place. We can drop off as early as 7:30 and pick up at 6 which is so helpful for working parents. They also serve snacks and a catered lunch so we can order ahead and don't have to worry about bringing lunch. Adam the owner is super communicative and accessible if we have any questions or need any help at any time (just a phone call or email away).

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Idea Lab Kids! As a homeschooling family, finding enrichment opportunities that truly capture kids’ interest can be challenging, but this STEAM program has been an amazing addition for us. My kids genuinely look forward to their time there. Their favorite activities include stop-motion animation, engineering projects, science lab experiments, coding, and game design. The learning style is very hands-on and imaginative, which helps the kids build real skills while having so much fun. The staff is one of the things that makes this place so special. They are kind, patient, and incredibly encouraging with the students. You can tell they truly care about the kids and enjoy what they do, and that energy creates such a positive environment. We’ve also celebrated at least five birthday parties there, and every one of them has been fantastic. The team does a great job organizing everything, and the kids always walk away feeling like they had an unforgettable celebration. Something else I really admire is how generous they are with the community. They consistently support my annual charity event, which says a lot about their character and commitment to giving back. If you’re searching for a place where kids can explore, build, and discover a love for learning, Idea Lab Kids is truly a gem.

My son has tried it all with Idea Lab over the last 2.5 years: day camp, summer camp, after school care. Our experience has been consistently fantastic. He always comes home happy and buzzing with new things he's learned. The instructors are experts who know how to make complex topics accessible and exciting for all ages. The programs are also carefully curated, offering a perfect balance of challenge and hands-on fun. The team is incredibly responsive and easy to work with, and they take very good care of the students. We are so happy we discovered Idea Lab!

Idealab exposed my 8 yr old to video games and now it’s an ongoing negotiation about playing the game everyday. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE unless you want them to be hooked on video games at a young age. Update: I couldn’t respond to Idealab’s comment so I’m adding an update here. How does playing Minecraft unsupervised for three hour straight after watching YouTube videos STEM education? If I want my kids to play videos games and watch YouTube I could have him do it at my house. Why on earth would I pay $100 plus a day for a so called Day Camp to play video games and watch YouTube? And you have the nerve calling it STEM education?

Such an amazing place! We had our boys’ birthday party here with a science/engineering theme. The owner, Adam, was so easy to work with. He created a great custom package of activities for our party. The kids had a blast. The staff was attentive, professional and organized. The staff went above and beyond to engage the kids and keep the party moving. It was a totally stress free, unique and memorable birthday. I highly recommend.
