Powered by GoogleIf you're a parent with a kid who lives and breathes Minecraft, but you're looking for a way to channel that passion into something more foundational, you have to try iCode. We've been part of the iCode family for a year now, and it has been absolutely amazing. Our son, who is nine and will soon be ten, had zero coding experience—just a deep, abiding love for Minecraft. We were a little skeptical at first, but the class has successfully taught him to code within the game. The transformation has been incredible to watch. He's no longer just a player; he's a creator. These skills are more than just a fun extension of his hobby; we truly believe they are building a solid foundation for him to grow as a coder and prepare for future opportunities. We're already excited for him to explore the other courses iCode offers. Beyond the curriculum, the facility itself is top-notch. It's clean, well-lit, and the computers are high-end gaming machines that make the experience feel professional and exciting for the kids. The owner is fantastic—a great communicator who keeps us informed via email and has been incredibly accommodating and willing to work with us to ensure our son gets the most out of the program. iCode has been a phenomenal investment in our son's future. It's a place where kids can learn tangible skills while doing something they already love. We highly recommend giving them a try!
We had a wonderful experience with iCode Greensboro! The staff was incredibly patient and understanding with my son. They took the time to work with him at his pace and made him feel comfortable and included throughout the camp. Each week, parents are invited to come in and see what the kids have created, which is such a special touch. My son was so proud to show off his game development project, and he did an amazing job, thanks to the supportive and encouraging environment provided by the team. Thank you so much for being there for him. We truly appreciate everything you've done!
Buyer beware. I was really unimpressed with the services I paid for my son. For the cost, I expected a much more professional and well-run experience. Unfortunately, the entire program felt disorganized from start to finish. The scheduling was confusing, communication was poor, and overall it seemed like there was a real lack of structure. What concerned me the most was the lack of staff knowledge and preparedness. It didn’t seem like they had the proper training or experience to be running a children’s program. My son even mentioned that the bathroom on-site wasn’t working, and they were walking kids across the parking lot to use the restroom at Fresh Market. That’s not only inconvenient — it’s also a safety concern. Also worth noting: the lack of Google reviews should have been a red flag for me. There’s very little feedback out there, which made it hard to know what to expect. I should have trusted my gut and done more research. Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your money and look elsewhere for a program that’s better organized, more transparent, and actually delivers on what they promise.
I recently had a chance to tour this new location and learn more about the STEM programs they offer. It is nicely done, with lots of glass doors and rooms that would make this a great modern learning environment.
