Powered by GoogleReally nice gymnastics facility. Concession stand had a decent variety of snacks and food.
This place is amazing for Gymnastics for kids! The city needs to open two more to meet the need in the metro area. Coaches are great! Facility is kept very clean and comfortable for athletes and observers. For as big as this building is, it still gets very busy and very full on evenings when classes are going on. A second location or expanding some of these classes into another building would help with a slightly large (in my opinion) class size, and classes closer in proximity than they would prefer.
Very nice facility, however had an unpleasant encounter with staff. My nephews and I went in and paid to play basketball during drop in hours and about 20 minutes in a women named Karen who said she was a Supervisor started questioning why we were there saying we aren’t allowed to use the facility to train. I’m assuming they don’t want personal trainers using the space but it was unprofessional the way she questioned us and disrupted us as if we were doing something wrong. Regardless, we paid to get in and felt very uncomfortable as she made assumptions because we were going through structured drills, made us explain how we were related, and why we were playing basketball. I grew up playing in Hyland Hills leagues and even worked for them so it’s sad to see such a disconnect with management and them discouraging community members to use the space acting as if it’s a private company or that they own it personally and can dictate how paying individuals use there time in there.
My niece's birthday party was great. The kids got to do gymnastics, then we had fruit, crackers and cake in the party room. Wonderful choice for where to hold a birthday party.
We had a great time for a birthday celebration at Hyland Hills Sports Center. An awesome experience for the kids ages 2-6 with 2 assigned gymnastic coaches to ensure safety and FUN!! And after this exploration went to a private room for the birthday festivities! Parents and kiddos had a wonderful time! Highly recommend.
