★J.B. GibsonI would NOT recommend this place to anyone who values basic decency and positive relationships between customers and businesses. Home Plate was more than happy enough to accept our money for their tryouts, but can’t be bothered to pick up a phone, send a text, or write an email to let you know that your kid didn’t make it. And, I think I could understand that, if I wasn’t ignored afterwards. We called multiple times over the following weeks asking for just a quick follow up. We wanted to know if he made it. If not, let us know what we can do to get him there. Nope. Radio silence. Take my money and ghost me. Here’s the funny thing, too: they couldn’t even be bothered to try and upsell us to come in and say they’d love to help him get where he’d like to be. I mean, come on guys… at least lie to me. I’d trust the Federal Government with my taxes before I trust these clowns with teaching my children Baseball. You want your kids to learn baseball, be taught right, see improvement in their game? There are plenty of other places in PTC that charge less and do more. They all can at least return a phone call.
★★★★★Tom SambdmanGreat venue, great facilities, and friendly staff. Park away from the field near the facility to avoid foul balls. Bring a chair if you like to sit. There are bleachers but is limited. Join the facility and get access to cages, paid coaching/training, and weightroom. If/when you try out for a team know that if you make a team you will get a call quickly. If you do not hear from them in a week you did not make the team. Keep working. Get bigger, faster, and stronger. Home Plate also offers programs to build arm strength, practice fielding, and practice hitting. I suggest going to those camps and working your way into the program if you are not selected at tryouts.

Concession stand was not open when we were there for a Perfect Game tournament (you would think a gate fee of $15 per person could get us a concession stand). Stands are on the smaller side but there is plenty of room for chairs. Bathrooms need attention.
