Northside Youth Organization (NYO) is a long-running intra-league youth sports program based at Chastain Park in Atlanta, offering baseball, football, basketball, softball and cheerleading. Its week-long summer camps teach baseball and softball fundamentals (hitting, throwing, fielding, catching, baserunning) for players roughly ages 4-14.

The organization is almost exclusively run by volunteers (I think there is ONE PERSON on the payroll)... I'm guessing 10,000 hours of volunteer time a year to keep it going. For those who want to spend their time being a keyboard warrior and complaining about something at NYO, feel free to sign up for a volunteer position and lend a helping hand- pretty sure they are always "hiring".
