Powered by GoogleI would give 0 stars! My daughter's team had a 6:15 game on Thursday, and the team had to wait for a umpire to get to the game. We waited an hour before someone decided to show up! Tonight's game the lights went out while in the middle of a game. It was the only field that the lights went out! Waited like 20 mins for the lights to come back on, so the girls could finish the game!!!! The schedules are always changing for both my son and daughter!!!! Please do better!!!!
Iam very disappointed that I been waiting about 3mos to get my ny husband brick, down at the veterans memorial site. I do want to thank Miss Bobbie Pope for keeping me inform with what going on with my brick. I think when they have 3rd party contract, sometime it can be a problem. I am so happy i got my husband brick before veterans day.
Morbidly obese groundskeeper thought it’s appropriate to get in the face of and yell at my child. When I witnessed this I walked over and confronted him! I him please do not speak to my child that way he could find me his response was To become extremely red in his face while he attempted to stand up and tell me if I didn’t leave he would escort me out. Nothing could be more embarrassing than watching this so I left peacefully. Great park otherwise
I'm launching a personal protest against the Henry County Parks and Recreations. My child plays baseball at Cochran and Hidden Valley hearts in North Henry County. Currently it is impossible to use the batting cages at the Hidden Valley location because the L screens are in serious disrepair. I have nearly been knocked out buy a ball trying to help my son improve. And I have seen other children catching to other children that have really been hit by balls that come through the L screen because the screens are in disrepair as I stated earlier. 3 weeks ago I filed a maintenance request and I'm going to do another today but I also went to visit to other parks. I visited the Ola and Locust Grove Park and I found them in excellent condition... No issues just one L screen that have been blown over due to high winds. I am going to do another maintenance request and I'm seeking to review the budget of the Henry County parks and recs as it pertains to the baseball fields. Today we play the game after you 10 level with no mouth and there is a batting cage at Cochran Park that cannot be used because it does not have L screens and the grass is nearly two feet high. We want our children to experience greatness and I think its citizens all children should be provided everything needed to give them a chance to perform in a spectacular fashion. If the differences are tribute to private funding, so be it but at this point this does not appear to be the case.
Diverse amount of people exercising. Great for taking the kids out to enjoy the outdoors with two different playground locations. A veteran memorial for POWs and those who lost their life while serving is a great homage and also has a military museum located in a farm house. You can learn some pretty cool things about McDonough history like locomotive history, the first school house and library. It is a great outdoor experience for all walks of life.
