Fantastic Nature Camp! Well-run, reasonably priced, rare and important for kids to have access to nature like this.
Amazing location, rustic day camp setting. Three hour Programming that is very fun and hands on. One week sessions. All outside or in older cabins and a large pavilion. Mainly the woods, well shaded. One way in/out. Tons of parking. Feels very safe. All kids wear a name tag with a matching number to the ticket the parent or other guardian must have on them for pick up. Bug spray is a must. Kids absolutely love it. Two counselors per most groups. The biggest complaint (always) are the "bathrooms". There are none. The out-house type structures are disgusting per my kids. Common complaint every year. Not the camp's, problem, but could definitely be addressed in a hygiene letter to families etc.
I had some of the best memories of my childhood at this camp. We probably attended every summer for fifteen years, I can't say enough good things. Can't wait to send my own children someday!
A one-of-a-kind daycamp experience for children and teens. Nature, the Arts, Folk-craft, and history.
