Powered by GoogleWe have attended CMYK for classes as well as summer camps with three of my kids (ages 9 and 7). CMYK has exceeded all expectations, Megan does a phenomenal job of keeping the kids entertained, learning, and engaged the entire time. One of my favorite take aways (that we have seen trickle over into their school work) is Megan has them provided feedback to each other, where the class sits and talks about what they like about the art work and what they can improve. She does it in such a positive way, my kids have loved it and look forward to the feedback. They also have carried that now over into school and seek areas where to improve. Such a wonderful life skill! I will also add Megan has created such a wonderful community with the studio. For the summer camps, she invited families to come at the end of the week and the kids show off their artwork and then receive awards. Everyone comes, and it is such a fun event! We love CMYK!!!!
CMYK (Meagan) has been a breath of fresh air in our community. My youngest went to a few art camps over the summer and LOVED them. She learned new creative processes and worked on beautiful pieces. At the end of each week, there was an art viewing where the kids got to show their work. My daughter was so proud. Each child received a certificate highlighting their abilities, and they all had big smiles on their faces. Art is inclusive to all. My oldest helped get the upstairs teen space ready, and Meagan has been mentoring her by encouraging her to try new mediums and plan projects to build her portfolio and submit for art scholarships. Her knowledge is invaluable. My eight-year-old said her favorite part of art camp was: “You get to be creative. And I liked the cupcakes we made.” My 16-year-old said: “She helps me with the thinking process of art so that I can ensure the end product will be what I was envisioning.” I would highly recommend CMYK to everyone.
My 5 year old son has been timid to try new things and has had trouble joining in group activities like soccer and baseball. He has absolutely loved art classes at CMYK. I signed him up for a trial class and he's taken several more since!
My kids absolutely love CMYK Art Studio!! Ms. Meg is the best teacher and does such a great job of making art fun (and keeping all the art mess at the studio and not in my house! 😆) I was blown away by how amazing my kids' projects were and we still have our summer camp artwork on display months later! I can't recommend this studio highly enough and my kids are counting down the days til summer when they can go back to camp!
My daughter has thrived at CMYK art studio. We struggled for a while to find her ‘thing’ and then someone recommended CMYK to me and we couldn’t be happier. Ms Meg goes above and beyond with the kids to help them explore their creativity and find their path as artists. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
