Harrold Youth Center is the U.S. Army Child & Youth Services youth center at Fort Leavenworth, serving military-connected youth. Its all-day summer camp runs weekly sessions with team challenges, STEAM activities, cooking club, video-game tournaments, field trips, and meals, alongside free afternoon and low-cost morning teen programming. Programs are for eligible military families.

★★★LXW artsI been to HYS for four summers and three after school years. Some of the staff aren't train professionally to take of kids with special needs or kids with ADHD/ADD. More than likely the staff are highschoolers or people in college that have red cross training. So it's best not to send children with special needs there.
★★★Kiley CatlawI agree with Sophia no one at the youth center is rude and they always encourage you to eat even is you come in late and they already cleaned up my only problem is the they should have more verity in the snack choice cause sometime I go with out a snack until you get home because the good snacks or junk ish food cost money and you can’t buy them until after 5 o’clock and many parents most likely pick you up before that. That’s my only problem. But they should let you at least text family members with out getting your phone confiscated. Or you getting yelled at. The activities can be fun but you shouldn’t be forced to go to them if you don’t enjoy them. P.S it would be a pretty nice prison to go to.
★Veronica DeanIt's upsetting and unreasonable that a girl got her phone taken away for checking a text she got from her dad who is deployed in Africa for a year. It was the first thing she had heard from him all week, and the fact that this center is for MILITARY CHILDREN is even worse. Have fun with your money and no understanding of a military child's life
