Hampton Tennis Center is the City of Hampton's municipal tennis facility, with seven clay courts and a professional instructional staff offering lessons, group clinics and junior summer camps. Summer camp runs Monday-Thursday in late July and August as a half-day program: a 45-minute session for ages 8 and under, and a 9am-noon session for ages 9 and up. Camps are open-enrollment through Hampton Parks & Recreation; the center is closed each year from November until the first week of April.

No one was around even though it was posted that the office was open.

Absolutely ridiculous experience at this so-called “free” tennis court. The lady working there treated us like children—calling us over in the most condescending tone instead of giving a proper introduction or any kind of professional greeting. Who does that?! If the court isn’t really free, then why isn’t that CLEARLY stated at the entrance? And if it is free, then don’t talk to grown adults like they’re kids! This place has zero respect and zero class. Won’t be wasting my time here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good teaching pros, Tom and Skip! Very affordable membership fees, court rental and ball machine rental. They have several singles and doubles leagues. Clay courts!

This tennis center is a really good place to play. The people that work here are really friendly and are there to assist you with your tennis needs. For a clay court I wouldnt pick anywhere else and the tournaments and practices hosted here are completely worth it. Great place for some experience on clay.

Great clay courts, facility is well maintained and staff is very helpful. The director, Tom Onoff goes above and beyond to bring tennis to the local area. The tennis cook outs are a great idea and the pro, Coach Ana is awesome!!
