Hampton Roads Youth Foundation

The Hampton Roads Youth Foundation is a Hampton-based nonprofit, founded in 1997, that runs the Annual Hampton Roads All-Star Football Camp for high school athletes - now in its 30th year - alongside scholarships, mentoring, SAT tutoring, FAFSA orientation, leadership development and college recruiting programs. The camp is a single-day summer event held on a Saturday with instruction from NFL players, coaches and executives, and registration is handled through Eventbrite. The foundation's stated mission is to serve at-risk youth in the Hampton Roads area by promoting academic excellence, social responsibility and community service, and it reports having served more than 14,000 youth and invested $4 million in scholarships, meals, clothing and free football camps.
