Gulf Coast Elite Gymnastics runs a summer camp featuring skill-based recreational gymnastics for all ages, alongside competitive teams, tumbling clinics, all-star cheer, ninja classes and preschool PAL time. Formed in 2022 from the merger of two local programs, it operates two Gulf Breeze locations; this listing is the 1844 Cowen Road gym. Summer camp begins in early June and enrollment is open to the public.

Powered by GoogleI do not appreciate paying for two classes a week for my child, only to lose those classes because life happens. If my child is sick, we’re out of town, or something unexpected comes up, we only receive ONE monthly makeup token — and it even has an expiration date. That makes no sense when those classes were already paid for. This facility offers very little flexibility. Even if you try to switch to another open class later the SAME day and are not actually missing the class, they still charge you a makeup token. Families spend a lot of money here and should not be penalized for circumstances outside of their control or for simply trying to reschedule within the same day. The policy feels extremely rigid and unfair toward paying customers.
They only offer one makeup class monthly and if your child is enrolled in more than one class weekly and you take a vacation you lose several classes. What makes it worse is that the makeup tokens expire making you lose your make up class! Not a flexible gym to enroll your child in. I do not recommend for this reason.
The coaches are rude. The admin team is awful. They single kids out and call it “tough love”. For the younger groups who are there for the enjoyment of the sport, they have found a way to suck the fun out of it. That’s hard to do when a child is passionate, but they figured out away to ruin it. I would recommend looking into other gyms before you give them company a cent. It’s clear to me why all the “good” reviews are so long in the past. This place is going down hill and it’s happening quick. My nieces attend here and were trying to get my daughter to join. After sitting in and hearing the horror stories from all the parents who have recently withdrawn their children. You can believe we will be taking our time and money elsewhere.
Love this gym! Great staff and coaches! Granddaughter learned great techniques increasing her knowledge and tumbling skills safely!
So far we have enjoyed being at this gym. My daughter feels welcomed and they make sure safety is of number one concern. She has the confidence to try harder skills, and they push her to excel. I am glad we found this gym. There has been a few coach changes since we’ve been here; so I am hoping that nothing changes as far as consistency in coaching is concerned.
