My son just keeps going on and on about doing a week with the Gorge Junior Sailing Summer Camp. I've heard nothing but excellent reviews from friends who've done it before, so I reached out to them, and Jed, owner, was amazing! Emailed me back within the hour, and answered all of my questions comprehensively, and kindly. Amazing customer service, and super kind staff. We're in for summer 2025 for sure!!!!!

My 6yr old did the Minnows class in the summer (2024). When I first was signing her up I loved that you could pick the classes weekly (I knew we would be gone for one of the weeks) so we didn’t have to pay for a class we wouldn’t be at. What I didn’t realize was that every week would be the same class (as in learning the same stuff) and not a progression. I was frustrated when I realized it, BUT, even though we had different instructors, they all worked with her and it ended up being her best experience ever. They recognized her skill level and worked with her to improve her skills, all while still giving an awesome class to the kids who had never done it before. By the end of the summer my kid could name all the parts of the boat (an Optimist boat), she knew how to rig a boat and how to right a capsized boat, she could both tack and jibe, and was fully sailing on her own! Our experience was unforgettable and we look forward to doing it again next summer.
