My eight year old has been to a number of the Grind camps and always comes back wanting to do another one! He likes the scrimmages, the mix of things they do and of course when there are prizes. I like that they have a batting cage right by the field, we notice a difference in his swing when they work on it.

I am so grateful that we found Coach Bill and the Grind. Our 7 year old son loves going and never wants to miss a day on the field at the Grind! They drive home the fundamentals and hard work teaching the kids to be better players and more well rounded athletes. We have been attending the grind for a year and our son has develop so much. Not only improving his skills and knowledge of the game but developing a grit and determination that can be applied throughout life. Not only that but it’s affordable for all families!

My son has been attending this baseball camp on and off for the past year, and he absolutely loves it! The coach is fantastic—knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly invested in the kids. My son’s skills have improved so much, and his love for the game has grown stronger with every visit. It’s also been a wonderful childcare option during school holidays. Highly recommend!

I started bringing my five-year-old to the spring camp earlier this year. I was amazed with how much he was able to pick up working with Coaches Bill and Joe. His confidence went through the roof and his ability to listen and understand the fundamentals of baseball have greatly increased. We now go back to grind camp each time my son has a break from school. These guys really know how to teach baseball and care about sharing their passion with the kids while teaching them responsibility and holding them accountable for their behavior. Highly recommended!!! Joe T.

Our son was with Coach Bill Duby, and the coaching staff of the Golden State Grind since he was 8 until 18 when we moved from CA. Over the years Coach Bill treated our son like his own and became the inner voice in his head while on the field and in the dugout. DJ grew leaps and bounds every single year. Through the 10 years, we were blessed with lifelong friendships and new family members. Some of the key things our son took away from his time as a Golden State Grind are, "TOP KNOTCH BASEBALL IQ, FAMILY, COMMUNITY, ON AND OFF THE FIELD RESPECT" - DJ Smith #16. As a parent, we learned to allow our son to be present on the field and not worry about what our opinion was of his game time plays. We loved being a part of the Grind Community and feel blessed for our time spent. DJ is 20 years old today, and playing an adult competitive league. I still see him carry those "Grind" behaviors onto the field and in the dugout. He shares his knowledge and skillset just the way Coach Bill and Coach Marty did with him. DJ is proud to have been a Grinder for all those years. Forever a community member! #GoldenStateGrind
