Amazing! This place was unreal! I went and camped with my sons school (Newcastle) and we had the best time ever. This is based off of the school group camping trip. We camp a lot, cabins and tent camping, this place is cabin camping and the cabins are way better than anywhere we cabin camp. It’s not super glamping or rough cabin 100 year old cabin camping. It’s somewhere in between with good ac and doors that work. Higher end cabin camping honestly. The bathrooms were perfect and exactly what you want and need. Better than red rock but below holiday inn. The trails were top notch, it’s amazing how high they go and how far they go. They have a lot of land and awesome land to get you out there to show you some really cool spots. They also kayaking, fishing, and a big air tube thing for the kids to play on and spend all day caring about. This might be school group specific, I am not sure but the food was crazy good. We had burgers, and we had seconds. The hot dogs were the really thick Schwab dog style, which shows they have really high expectations of their experience. I don’t know if everyone gets to experience the star gazing and museum experience with the director but this guy is a science genius. I will never forget the experience we had with this guy. He showed us some awesome dinosaur skeletons and we dug for cool fossils not knowing the arbuckle mountains are worldwide historic but when he busted out his telescope and showed us Saturn and you could see the rings so clearly, that is a memory I will never forget. Probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. He put a bunch of iPads in the kids hands to show them all the constellations in the sky and I was already sold on this guy way before when he spoke. He is the director and when he speaks you just get amazed by the stuff he teaches you. Oklahoma is way cooler than you thought. Can’t wait to go again with my kids next year. Our teachers did great also but they knew this place was special and they directed us to it and gave us a memory we will never forget. Thank you everyone involved for this wonderful time!

I give this a 5 star review!! I went there for a school trip, and it was the most beautiful sight I've ever saw! I also hicked a canyon, waterfall, and I saw things I've never saw! [ mostly cause I lived in the city all my life] but the bad part was.. why the heck would they let 11 year olds hike a canyon?! but that doesn't matter it was the best ever!!!

I went here for a school trip at DIS so it was pretty fun it was beautiful and the camp counselor was nice and my cabin mates were ok it was beautiful and the history of this place is amazing so yeah

For going individually, it's probably fine but, if you want to go as a group/school, be prepared for it to be a huge pain. The school I worked for went there every year for over 10 years, including this year, and making the arrangements was always a huge hassle because the person in charged, Clayton, is awful about being timely on anything. This includes replying to texts, emails, or even showing up for scheduled events at the camp (we started calling it "Goddard time" lol). I don't mean just a little late, btw. For texts and emails, it would usually be weeks without a reply and we sometimes waited on him for almost an hour for his museum presentation. Btw, that museum presentation will put most students and even adults to sleep because it's way too much sitting and listening. The camp is pretty nice, but not worth all the hassle. If not for the hassle, I'd probably give it 4 stars, only because the people there don't usually look very happy to be there (they have to deal with his poor time management every day, so I can't blame them). I'm not blaming it all in him, though, he's probably understaffed and trying to do too much himself, when he should probably have an assistant. I wish the camp sent out surveys after each stay, so they could see how much they could improve the experience with just better staffing/management.

The beds really gave me a hard time Of sleeping, The Food is very good but not so well with the Roofs too. The roofs are Metal and We should definitely get wooden roofs. As i mentioned the first time, The beds. Just sink u in. Which just makes it very uncomfortable. Not a bad camp but lots of walking. Kinda bad but, Rarely decent.
