I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience regarding the YMCA summer program. Like many parents, I enrolled my children believing the YMCA would provide a reasonably affordable option that supports working families and the community. Unfortunately, after fully reviewing the total projected costs, I realized the summer program would cost close to $6,000 overall — not including additional everyday expenses families already face. Meals such as breakfast and lunch are also not included, which adds even more financial strain. The biggest issue for me was learning that the $210 registration/down payment is completely non-refundable. I understand policies exist, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or willingness to work with families experiencing financial hardship, especially from an organization that prides itself on supporting the community. I even attempted to discuss alternatives, such as applying the registration fee toward other YMCA youth activities or programs, but was not met with much understanding or accommodation. I would strongly encourage parents to fully calculate the total summer costs before registering and to be aware that the registration fee is non-refundable regardless of circumstances. I truly wanted to continue supporting the YMCA and keeping my children involved in programs there, which makes this experience even more unfortunate.

The lifeguard on duty today- her name was Storm- was absolutely amazing. I took my level 3 nonverbal autistic son for open swim. Not only was Storm friendly, but she was respectful and understanding and SO KIND. She took the time to talk to me and interact with my son- when she didn’t even have to. She lent us pool toys to play with too. There is a special place in heaven for Storm & I hope she knows what a genuine impact she makes on people through her kindness. Thank you for renewing my faith in humanity Storm & we will be back ❤️

I've only been a member at the YMCA for a short time, but I can already say it’s been a great experience so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Whether you're brand new to fitness or a longtime gym-goer, they make you feel comfortable and supported. While some of the workout equipment might seem a bit outdated to some, that really shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. At the end of the day, the YMCA provides everything you need to get started on a healthier lifestyle. It's more about commitment and consistency than the latest machines and this gym gives you the space and encouragement to do just that. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the YMCA to anyone looking for a supportive, community-driven place to focus on their health and fitness goals.

Really nice and well taken care of place! Very cute guys in the men’s locker room and pool! As a guy it’s always nice to be able to work out with some cute jocks and twinks shirtless. Definitely gonna return here again. I have to bring my spider spray because I saw a huge web in the corner of the gym with a big spider in it. I threw a 10lb dumbbell at its web and it stuck to the web. It was so gross. Definitely come check this place out u won’t be disappointed

Great place for a birthday party for your kids! --for kids that can swim and those that can't! The shallow area is a fun area for them to play and splash around. There's a basketball hoop in the pool and a water splashing stationed in the pool.
