Gil Basketball Academy (GBA) is a Salinas nonprofit (founded 2009) serving youth in East Salinas through basketball camps, clinics, individual training and a youth league open to children as young as four. Programs build fundamentals — shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense — alongside teamwork, accountability and life skills, serving over 350 youth annually with enrichment like college tours and mentorship.
