Forest Youth Athletic Association is a volunteer nonprofit youth sports club (founded 1985) whose soccer program serves ages 4-17 across U6 through U18 recreational divisions, with practices at Thomas Jefferson Elementary, New London Academy and the FYAA Soccer Fields on Thomas Jefferson Road and most games on Saturdays. Its own summer offering is an evening training series run with the Lynchburg Sports Association in June and July - twice-weekly sessions of roughly 45-75 minutes plus Saturday games, from a 3-4 year-old Hotshots group up to a U18 Elite Academy - rather than a full-day camp. FYAA also posts area summer camps run by other organizations, including Liberty University, the University of Lynchburg and Randolph College. Registration is open to all applicants regardless of skill level or residence, and players receive a jersey and socks to keep.
