Forest Youth Athletic Association (FYAA) is a nonprofit youth sports organization serving the Forest area since 1985. Its summer soccer day camps run in multi-session series and cover technical skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and small-sided games, coached by Randolph College coaches and players. FYAA serves players roughly ages 4 to 17 and owns a 36-acre park in Forest.

★Lindsay BecknerThe women’s bathroom at the forest youth rec center was absolutely disgusting. The toilets were clogged. Urine and feces was all over the floor. The one toilet stall that wasn’t clogged still had urine and feces on the floor. The door would not unlock and I could not let my child crawl under because of the urine on the floor. I had to basically pry the door open. No paper towels in the dispenser and the sink would not cut off easily. The hand dryer did work fortunately. As much money that goes into these things, you’d think the bathrooms would be in better shape.
★★★★Todd BryantI have no complaints with the fields, or umpiring. As a grandparent who coached for many years at a rival field I know that some games will not go your way. My concerns are with the bathroom facilities. My grandchildren play there so I've attended many games. Going to the bathroom is very difficult. From most fields it's a long walk to the building unless you want to use a porta john. I've seen children turn back from the building because of poor lighting or privacy concerns using the urinals. There needs to be additional bathrooms at or near the concessions. I walked into a urinal yesterday and it was totally unacceptable what experienced
★★★Steve ClemensonGreat place for the kids to play sports. Needs some steps for those steep hills. Almost broke my leg trying to get down and back up. Nothing but complaints from the spectators about the hills and lack of concessions nearby.
★Amber AustinWent there for my daughters softball tournament. Started at 9am. Played all day til 9pm. NO CONCESSION STAND❗ Nothing close by and couldn't go get food because she was playing back to back games. Absolutely unacceptable to have NO FOOD AND NO DRINKS available for the players and families. AND BTW it was 95 degrees. The ONLY thing I liked about the ballpark was there was an actual bathroom with several stalls, soap, sinks, and paper towels.
★★★★hokie fansGreat place for the community. The staff is run ragged with all the events they support/hold/etc.. Only major downside is the office hours/ease of contact. Sometimes it is hard to get to their office during normal hours, but understandable since most of the squad is volunteer. Without FYAA, Forest would be a much worse town
