Under his leadership, the kids don’t just become better players, they learn to play with heart, integrity, and respect for the game and each other. My son Will, simply loved the Future Hoop Stars camp. The camp counselors were nurturing, very friendly and helped the campers learn many new basketball skills. In fact, Will really improved his skills over the month long camp. We initially signed up for one week, but since he loved the camp so much, we signed up for every week it was offered. Will has been to other basketball camps, but he told me he liked the Future Hoop Stars the best. Will told me he can't wait to go again next summer, and will definitely be going to the December holiday break basketball camp Future Hoop Stars offers.

My boys are 7 and 12 years old and had never really learned how to play basketball before this camp. They weren’t excited about camp since they are beginners. But - We were impressed with Coach Russo and his team. My boys were encouraged, taught the fundamentals, and improved their skills quite a bit by the end of the week. They didn’t get discouraged by their ability. I also really liked how each day they had a camper of the day and they were given prizes for hard work and good effort. And at the end of the week, there were special prizes given out to campers who worked hard, or had improved the most (both of my boys had earned prizes, about which they were proud). These prizes were very motivating for kids and they loved being recognized for their hard work, even if they weren’t as good as some others. I think the coaches were very encouraging, and the camp has a great culture of mutual respect, fun and positivity. I would suggest this camp for any family whether your child is experienced or not because I think they do a fantastic job, making it be meaningful about more than just sports, but also about character. Great job to all the coaches!

My son tried out Coach Russo’s camp today. Although it didn’t work out for him probably because of his age-6, I’ll give the camp 5 stars! The place is state of the art, the coaches are amazing and it is probably the best place for basketball training in Boca Raton area. Coach Andy Russo is on site! He is a great mentor for the kids and he creates a great learning atmosphere! We’ll definitely try again next year!
