Fusion FC is a great non-profit soccer club that has roots back to 1979, but became Fusion FC when Red Land Soccer & West Shore Soccer merged in 2010. They're one of the few non-profit clubs that own their fields, so their fields are available to rent for scrimmages, games & tournaments. They own 2 complexes- Red Land & McLaughlin. Red Land has 16 fields, parking, concession/clubhouse & porta potties. McLaughlin has 2 fields, porta potties & parking. They offer recreational leagues, travel teams, soccer shots along with youth & adult winter leagues. No pets (other than service animals), no smoking & no alcohol at either of their complexes.
A large number of well maintained playing fields for the children's teams. Handicapped parking spots are marked by they as well as the entire parking area are stoned. Small food building selling snacks under picnic pavilion with tables. Portable toilets available.
Fusion FC is a very poorly run organization. Their fields are never cut or lined properly, and the club has no concern for the development of its players. They stack travel teams just to get wins, and they shove as many players as they can on recreational teams leaving players with less than ample playing time during games. Unless it's your only option, I would stay far away.
Awesome program, very well organized, all schedules and programs are easily understood and readily available. Have coached there two seasons now and can’t wait to start back up. Administration and ref staff are so helpful and kind. Only two suggestions, volunteer coaches should not have to pay full premium for recreational play for their children and driveway and parking lot needs to be corrected. We highly recommend this program.
