Powered by GoogleI absolutely love the Franklin County YMCA. The staff are amazing and its a very clean gym. The classes are my favorite! So many to chose from to fit your needs and the instructors are the best!
Enjoy my time with my kids with so many activities to do they love it as well.
The YMCA leadership needs to work on a new plan for summer camp day care 2026. The pool was closed to paying members every week day from 12:00-4:00 pm. That’s too much of the day. When I mentioned this to the front desk attendant on 8/21/25, his attitude was not helpful and basically was unconcerned about my thoughts on the situation. I plan to consult YMCA leadership that’s in a decision making position to further discuss the lack of available of pool time during the summer. The front desk attendant was very dismissive and showed absolutely no customer service support. He only said, the pool will continue to be closed in the coming weeks due to Safe Splash classes. If my monthly dues don’t allow full access to the facility, my monthly dues should be reduced.
Was charged for an additional month after cancelation, even though I signed for cancelation in August was still charged for October! Swimming pool was slippery in several places indicating not cleaned properly! Not the best experience to say the least! UPDATED: received a call from Jessica, expressing her concerns about my experience. She stated it was indeed a clerical error and refunded the additional payment. She was genuinely concerned with the conversation I had with a "front desk' person and will address that as well. I have to say the quick follow up put a whole different prospective on things. I guess some employees are more interested in their paycheck than the people. Thanks again Jessica, for the follow up!
Some of the nicest people in FC! I’ve come a few times, 30-45 minutes before closing, and they haven’t charged me for a guest pass. They let me come on in! They took a few of my brother Christopher’s missing person flyers. When I came back almost 2 months later, they remembered and told me they had put them up in some local stores. All the people that come to this YMCA are nice. I brought a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old here once, and the employees welcomed the kids so warmly. On the basketball court, all the people playing treated the kids nicely. One time, I scored some cool trick shots, and some guys wanted a picture with me. They said I am probably the best basketball player in the area. They gave me nonstop compliments. Which is one reason I’d definitely recommend the FC YMCA because everyone compliments each other and encourages each other to improve their game. I haven’t seen one instance of anyone being rude, treating someone badly, or insulting someone here. Only good, wholesome fun and people encouraging one another!
