Our daughter has really flourished under the care of the Foundations staff. It's amazing to me when I arrive to pick her up as staff members from other rooms will often step out to say goodbye to my 16mo old. They always have funny stories and they express true joy when my daughter reaches milestones. One of the staff members even offered to babysit my daughter because she enjoys working with her so much. The new director is working tirelessly to demonstrate to us parents how committed they truly are at providing an excellent educational experience for our children and I'm eternally grateful for them. Our daughter has also become more outgoing and comfortable around other children and adults and we totally credit this to Foundations. Thank you staff! You are amazing

I love all the staff and they are all wonderful to the child’s but I can’t help feel bad for the staff. As wonderful and well adaptable to any situation they are, it seems that they keep getting thrown from class to class and there’s only a couple class room with a Constance teacher and stability is greatly important for child’s. But I also know how much of a mental load it is for the teachers getting thrown around like they are and not doing the job they are hired to do or prefer to do. But again I can not express enough how wonderful everyone that works here is and how amazing they are with the kids! I’m completely put at easy while at work and completely confident that my children are well taken care of in any circumstance good or bad!

My daughters went here for 9 months. It started out great. The teachers were very interactive and constantly updating you throughout the day within the app. The curriculum was being implemented and I would love when my toddlers would come home showing off their new learnings. This all changed and changed overnight. The director and assistant director left at the same time not to mention the teachers were “dropping like flies”. The company did not handle this well at all and it left the facility in a tailspin of chaos. There was no accountability and communication between teachers and management was laughable. The revolving door of teachers and management fill ins attributes highly to the lack of communication. My daughter, that was now in a step up room, age 2-3, would come home with bites and bruises all too consistently. Then, no follow up would be done unless we initiated it. The incident reports would be filled out days later and at that point I could only imagine they were incorrect. My wife and myself battled diaper rashes on our two year old because her teachers would not use the wipes and diapers that we provided. They would claim “they didn’t think they were suppose to because they were in step up class now”. The rashes became so bad it would even lead to infection on more than one occasion. There was an incident of my daughter not being changed and sent to another room at the end of the day. That teacher asked me the following Monday if I had been notified that when my daughter was brought to er she had dried poop on her all the way to her stomach where she hadn’t been changed in so long. The app showed that over 4 hours went by since changing but the teachers claimed the app wasn’t working and that they did change her. Another episode was picking up my toddler that had now been put in infant room because end of day consolidation. She had a poop filled diaper that was starting to dry on her skin. Letting me know it had been there a while. I asked the teacher why my daughter had t been changed and she stated that she’s not used to being in that room. No excuse at all, it’s literally the same job to change the kids in every room. The horrible experiences go on and on. Enough was enough. I let the acting fill ins know that I was pulling my kids from the facility and would not be paying the two week notice because of the amount of “neglect” my daughter was received. All and all, this is not the place you want your kids until they do some major changing. If you are considering here when you go to tour ask the question if there is a constant in management. Until this issue is fixed nothing else is going to fall in line. And there are some good teachers there, I don’t want to take away from that. But unfortunately the good no where near outweighs the bad. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache and find another child care.

Our experience here was incredibly disappointing. The staff never adhered to the curriculum. The meals NEVER matched the meal plan. So many times they had a “plan” to feed kids a balanced lunch and then what they actually served was just Mac and cheese or pizza. Cleanliness? Horrible. Half the time when we picked up our daughter the room would smell horrific. We’ve also brought in tons and tons of clothes that just go missing. The amount of clothing I’ve bought in the last 6 months is insane because we’d buy clothes, bring them in, and never get them back - and no one knows where they go. We’ve picked up our daughter multiple times with unexplainable bruises and scratches. The teachers have “no clue” how it happened. Even on her last day here, we pick her up and KNEW she was going to be hurt - giant scratch/bruise on her face and their best guess is that another kid threw a toy at her, but neither of them saw it happen. Even though there were literally 6 kids in the room and two teachers. Can corroborate the other parent who said she’s seen toddler teachers screaming at literal 18 month old toddlers because I also witnessed that myself on multiple occasions. Our daughter was here for 6 months and it just never got better. The director left, and they’re attempting to fix some of the issues, but unless something major changes with their actual teachers, I don’t see how it could get better.

My 4 month old has been attending this daycare for almost 2 months and we have had nothing but a positive experience! When I first took a tour of the facility, I loved how secure the place was. The only way into the building is by door code. Also, they take great care in the cleanliness of their rooms. I love how they require you to take your shoes off or wear shoe covers into the infant rooms to protect the babies from any germs tracked in and left on the ground. The center director Michelle was super helpful and informative throughout the enrollment process making it easier on us to send our little one into the care of unfamiliar faces. In addition, the infant teachers are awesome! They do a very good job keeping us updated throughout the day with all the activities they are doing. Also, even though they have multiple babies to care for at once, you can tell they love them all like one of their own. So, if you are looking for a high quality, safe and clean place to send your infant, Foundations on Hwy 9 is the place to go!
