WNY Flash Academy North runs half-day soccer camps at Forest Elementary School in Buffalo's Northtowns, where players work on dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, 1v1 attacking and defending, and small-sided games with the club's professional coaches. Camps run 9am-12pm over multi-day sessions in late June, July and August for boys and girls ages 6-12, and are open enrollment: in-club and out-of-club players alike register through PlayMetrics. Sessions cost $185, or $160 with early-bird pricing, and are grouped by age and ability so both beginners and competitive players can join. Flash North also runs a year-round junior academy and travel program for older players.

★★★Sandra KarreMy daughter has played with the Flash North team for the past 3 years. The first two were great, however, this past year was not. The coaches were wonderful but communication was poor when the coaches changed or when they decided to change the groups. There were no regular games (only some scrimmages where they mixed in randomly with the younger Flash South teams) and they did not participate in any tournaments. When I had reached out with questions or concerns— I did not receive a reply. I hope next year is better for anyone participating.
