The studio is beautiful and the instructors are so attentive which we really appreciate. We happily make the drive from Austin to San Marcos so that she can have what we feel is the best education and experience to grow as a dancer 😊

First Class Dance Center has been a great experience so far! The pricing is reasonable, and the front desk staff was very welcoming—they answered all of my questions and addressed every concern. The owner even took the time to introduce herself, which made it feel very personal. I can’t wait to see everything they have in store for my girls!

I have two students enrolled, one age two and the other four. Miss Taylor is an excellent instructor, and I appreciate the effort she puts into the class. However, I did have some concerns with the four-year-old program based on the two classes we attended. During both classes, my four-year-old was not allowed to participate in the tumbling portion along with almost half the class. I understand that during the second class she was set aside for spitting at one point, but she was never brought back to join the class afterward—not even for the group picture. This made me feel as though she was being isolated rather than the situation being addressed by speaking with me in the hallway so we could work through it together. It also seemed like the class was somewhat chaotic, which is understandable with four-year-olds. They are naturally energetic and cannot sit still for long periods of time. However, during the tumbling portion only a few students were able to participate, so it wasn’t just my granddaughter who was missing out. It might be helpful to have an additional assistant in the class to help manage the group and allow more children to participate. Another concern is that recital activities are taking up an additional week this month for pictures. While there is also a week off for spring break, that means the kids are missing four classes in total this month. I was offered make-up classes, but for a 30-minute class it would require an additional day of driving back and forth, which is difficult to manage. It also feels like because my students are not participating in the recital and I’m not paying additional recital fees, they may be receiving less attention or opportunity in class. I truly hope that is not the case. Overall, I appreciate Miss Taylor and the effort she puts into teaching, but I wanted to share these concerns in hopes that the experience can improve for all of the children in the class.seemed that the lady front desk had her daughter in the class and was more prioritized by her and staff.

First class dance center has been sooo great with our baby and patient! Our little girl did a trail at 21months but they let her join right before turning 2, she has came a long way! She has learned many fine motor skills, social skills and making friends 🧡! I would highly recommend FCDC
